The ADR Community Champions 2025 will honour the UAE’s Year of Community with its inaugural event in Q4 this year. This celebration will highlight people and organisations making a difference in the capital. From inspiring individuals to grassroots initiatives, it will shine a light on those who uplift others and strengthen the community.
A Landmark Celebration of Community Spirit
The awards will feature ten categories recognising youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, cultural heritage, health and wellness, and more. Over 100 guests are expected to attend an evening dedicated to celebrating those who give selflessly to enrich lives.
A Vision Rooted in Local Connection
Founded by Asha Sherwood, CEO of Abu Dhabi Review, ADR Community Champions 2025 builds on her decade-long mission to champion local voices. Through storytelling, ADR has shared the spirit and diversity of Abu Dhabi’s people. Now, it will formally recognise those who inspire others through their contributions.
From Unsung Heroes to Role Models
Nominees will include volunteers, educators, and cultural advocates. A diverse judging panel will select winners, while shortlisted nominees will gain exposure across ADR’s platforms.
Opportunities for Partnership
The awards invite businesses to partner through sponsorships that reflect corporate social responsibility values. In addition, categories include community service, innovative engagement, social inclusion, and educational impact.
Event Timeline
Nominations will open 8–10 weeks before the Q4 2025 ceremony. Winners will be announced during an evening of recognition and networking. By showcasing these stories, ADR Community Champions 2025 aims to inspire others and spark a ripple effect of positive change across Abu Dhabi.
