A New Colourful Immersive Indoor Attraction Has Opened in Dubai
Dubai has a brand-new reason to get excited: a colourful, multi-sensory attraction has just opened in the city, bringing with it a blend of optical illusions, playful experiences and interactive installations designed to fire up every sense. After touring global hotspots including Washington DC, Madrid, São Paulo and Brisbane, Dopamine Land has officially unlocked its doors at Oasis Mall in Al Quoz.
This immersive experience has already captured international attention for its vibrant concept and now aims to offer Dubai’s residents and visitors an uplifting escape into a world of colour, sound and creativity. The attraction brings nine themed rooms under one roof, each designed to explore emotion, perception and imagination in a way that feels both nostalgic and entirely new.
What to expect inside Dopamine Land
The experience combines visual illusions, interactive soundscapes and hands-on activities to create a space where playfulness meets exploration. From the moment visitors step inside, the design encourages curiosity and connection — whether through movement, sensory triggers or unexpected textures. Across the nine rooms, several standout concepts anchor the experience:
Musical Tiles
A kinetic audio installation that transforms footsteps into melodies. Visitors can experiment by hopping, tapping or dancing their way across illuminated tiles that respond with sound. Imagine the iconic piano scene from Big, but more vibrant, more modern and designed for all ages.
The Keep Calm Forest
This room recreates a peaceful woodland using LED-lit trees, reflective surfaces and ambient sound. It’s a digital forest that blends calm visuals with immersive audio, creating a sense of serenity in the middle of the city.
Lucid Dreams
A surreal ASMR-inspired environment created in collaboration with digital artist Cassie Troughton. Soft visuals, abstract shapes and dream-like sounds come together to form a zone dedicated to imaginative escape. Other rooms include ball pits, glow effects, oversized props and playful pillow-fight corners, all designed to spark joy and encourage people to let go of the everyday routine.

The name “Dopamine Land” hints at the inspiration behind the concept — dopamine being the neurotransmitter associated with pleasure, fascination and motivation. The experience aims to create moments that ignite those emotional responses, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, date days or simply anyone seeking a unique indoor activity in Dubai. The venue is wheelchair accessible, although some areas may be less suitable for visitors with specific mobility needs.

Dopamine Land is open daily from 10am to 10pm at Oasis Mall.
The full experience takes around 50 minutes to complete, though visitors are welcome to stay longer and revisit rooms at their own pace.
