Largest Airline Extends Olympique Lyonnais Partnership Until 2030

Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is extending its commitment to top-tier sports partnerships: the airline has renewed its shirt sponsorship of Olympique Lyonnais for another five years, through to the end of the 2029/2030 season.

A Strong Alliance Built on Shared Values

Boutros Boutros, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand at Emirates, commented:
“We are pleased to announce our extended partnership with Olympique Lyonnais – one of the most loved and respected football clubs in France. Excellence, community spirit, and innovation define both our brands, and we look forward to building on our collaborative success.”

Since 2020, “Emirates’ “Fly Better” logo has been proudly featured on Olympique Lyonnais jerseys. The renewed agreement further cements the airline’s commitment to Lyon, the Rhône-Alpes region, and France overall.

A Future Full of Opportunities for Fans

John Textor, Owner of Olympique Lyonnais and CEO of Eagle Football Group, added:

“We are delighted to continue our journey alongside Emirates for the next five seasons. The trust built between our organizations since 2020 will continue to grow, offering fans even more unforgettable moments through the game we all love.”

Our sponsorship deal also grants Emirates significant branding rights across Groupama Stadium, hospitality access, player engagement opportunities, and exclusive marketing and social media rights.
>Among fan favorites: Emirates will continue offering “player escort” experiences for young fans, allowing children to walk onto the field with players before matches.
